I am many women in one.
I am daughter, sister, aunt, mom, lover and friend.
Each face I show is a different aspect of the person I am inside.
Sometimes bold, more often shy.
Strong and capable of many tasks.
Always loving and sometimes I cry.
I get mad as hell, then laugh at the silliest things.
I dance in the rain because..... I can.
I curse at tourists slowing my travels and
grumble about impolite people in local stores.
My heart swells with a single loving touch.
My life is full, yet incomplete.
But it's all okay because I am, after all, just.......me!

I chose the name YASHTI for it's originality, the word itself  has many meanings.  Yashti is a licorice,  an herb,  it is also mentioned in several Hindi prayers, a prayer in itself.  The name also comes from the middle ages, the woman with the name was a martyre, standing up and demanding rights women were not allowed in that era.
I am many things, a dreamer most of all.  Dreams are not only an escape or relaxation, they are a necessity.  Someone once called me 'dream montage'.  A 'montage', as my little webster describes it, is...."..a composite picture made by combining several separate pictures..".  My dreaming is a montage, a never ending combination of images and emotions.

I was a single parent to 5 wonderfully special children, before I went slightly nuts and thought they needed a male/father type figure and I married.  A few short years later I found myself starting over again, alone,  after losing a big part of myself.      I am 37 and I live in a remote desert area, where my children complain that they are too far from their friends, where they roam free without too many worries, where they wake their RV hopping grandmother at the crack of dawn..............and where we all laugh and love.  July 11, 2002 - I am a GRANDMA!  Sooner than I would have liked, but a cherished moment none-the-less.
